SAMPLE PREPARATION
Anatech offers an extensive range of sample preparation products. As analytical systems become more sensitive, the need for cleaner samples becomes more critical. To achieve cleaner samples, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) techniques and the use of QuEChERS are recommended. SPE will also facilitate differential elution of analytes.
Anatech takes SPE to the next level with automation by Biotage. The Biotage Extrahera™ is a powerful, user friendly automation system for Supported Liquid Extraction (SLE), Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), Phospholipid Depletion (PLD) and Protein Precipitation (PPT) based methods, in plate or column formats.
The Biotage RapidTrace®+ eliminates manual sample processing bottlenecks. The RapidTrace+ is the perfect complement to high-speed analytical techniques, a powerful high-throughput workstation dedicated to unattended automated sample preparation.
The Thermo Scientific range provides the solution to all your sample preparation needs and provides accurate and consistent results. Automated Solid Phase extraction saves time, labour, and solvent by automating solid phase extraction (SPE) for large-volume aqueous samples. The high-throughput Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ AutoTrace™ 280 SPE system processes up to six samples in parallel—from cartridge/disk conditioning and sample loading, to rinsing and elution—making samples ready for chromatographic analysis.
In addition, Thermo Scientific™ offers accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) with extensive applications to meet the needs for sample preparation of complex or difficult matrices. Accelerated solvent extraction generates results in a fraction of the time compared to techniques such as Soxhlet and sonication. This patented technique extracts solid and semisolid sample matrices using common solvents at elevated temperatures and pressures.
An extensive range of Flash Chromatography systems are also offered.
SPEX® SamplePrep was founded in 1954 to provide superior sample preparation equipment and supplies for spectroscopists. The Freezer mills and grinders are capable of pulverizing samples in both ambient and cryogenic environments. The ShaQer™ is designed to effectively homogenize samples for food analysis. It is the ideal tool for QuEChERS and the SWeET method. It shakes up to six samples simultaneously and offers increased recovery of pesticide residue.
