ColiControl is a selective and differential, ready-to-use dehydrated medium for the simultaneous detection of total coliforms and Escherichia coli in water using ONPG and MUG enzymatic substrate technology. What It Is
PoliTray is a sterile 97-well MPN tray designed for the quantitative detection of total coliforms and Escherichia coli in water samples. Used together with ColiControl medium, it enables accurate enumeration based on the Most Probable Number method.
How It Is Used
After the sample and reagent are combined, the mixture is dispensed into the tray and sealed using the Poli Sealer. Following incubation, positive wells are counted manually or using the MPN Reader to determine the bacterial concentration.

The MPN Reader is an automated system designed to read incubated PoliTray MPN trays and calculate results quickly and accurately. It captures high-resolution images under UV and white light to detect positive wells and determine the Most Probable Number for total coliforms and Escherichia coli.

After incubation, the sealed tray is placed into the reader, where the system automatically analyses the results, calculates the MPN value, and stores the data and images for reporting, traceability, and record keeping.
