Anatech Instruments would like to congratulate Melissa Nel on receiving one of three Promega travel grants to attend the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) conference in Vancouver, Canada from 18-22 October. Melissa will be presenting a poster, Exome sequencing identifies targets in ophthalmoplegic myasthenia gravis during the Complex Traits and Polygenic Disorders session. She is currently an enrolled PhD student in the Health Science Faculty at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Her future studies will take her abroad for 6 months, delving deeper into computational biology. We wish her a safe trip, all the best for her poster presentation and a very bright future!
